Terms

These terms govern your use of Goldseat.lol. By submitting a listing or completing a payment you accept them. They are written to match what the site actually does — the ranking behaviour described here is enforced by the same code that orders the board, not restated by hand.

Listings

Listing is free and always will be. No account, no card, no approval queue. A free listing does not expire and cannot be removed for not paying.
You keep whatever rights you already had in the name, tagline, description and screenshots you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display that content on the site for as long as the listing is up, and to link to the URL you gave us.
You confirm the listing is yours to submit and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights, and that it describes the product honestly. Listings that misrepresent what they are are hidden.
One listing per product. Submitting a link that is already listed takes you to the existing listing rather than creating a duplicate.
We may hide a listing that breaks the rules, that receives abuse reports, or that we are legally required to remove. Hiding is reversible and keeps the listing off the board and out of search results; it is not a deletion.
Not accepted on submit or left up: chat and invite links, adult and NSFW sites, and bare IP addresses.

Boosts and payments

A boost is $5 minimum, whole dollars, in $1 steps, held for 30 days. There is no ceiling — you name your price.
The price of any position is derived from the listing it displaces, so the cost is always visible before you pay. Prices are recomputed from live board state at the moment you claim, and a position can be taken by anyone who pays more.
Where two listings have paid the same amount, the earlier payment holds the higher rank. Paying an amount that only matches the listing above does not take that position; you have to pay more. We decide rank on the payment that has completed, and we do not hold or reserve a position before payment is made.
A completed payment is what claims the rank. Declining, abandoning or failing checkout charges nothing and changes nothing.
Claiming a higher rank with a product already on the board is allowed and charges the full new amount — there is no top-up rate and no reduced price for claiming your own spot. The amount shown at checkout is the amount charged.
Today's board ranks listings by what they paid since midnight UTC and resets at that hour. A position on it is priced against that day's spend, and the same payment also sets your 30-day boost to the same amount. The spot ends at midnight even though the boost does not.
A boost expires 30 days from payment and does not roll over or renew on its own. The listing falls back to the free tier and stays there permanently.
Boosting does not change your listing, does not survive its 30 days, and does not make your product better.

Refunds

Payments for a claimed rank are not refundable. By paying you accept that a boost is consumed the moment the rank is granted. A position on this board is visible to everyone for the whole 30 days, and it cannot be un-seen.

The exceptions, where we do refund or fix:

A payment succeeds but the boost does not land on your listing. We fix it, or refund it.
A payment is taken twice for the same boost, or for an amount you did not agree to.
We remove or hide your listing for a reason that is not yours — for example a mistake on our part about what the rules require. The boost money is returned; the listing is not reinstated.
A chargeback or bank reversal is initiated through your bank. We do not charge a handling fee on top of it.

A rank you later choose not to keep is not a refund. Boosts are not transferable and cannot be sold on.

No guarantee of traffic

A boost buys a position and nothing else. We do not promise impressions, clicks, signups, revenue or any particular result, and we cannot control what happens on a site after someone leaves ours. Your outbound link is marked rel="nofollow sponsored", which means it passes no link equity — you are buying visibility, not PageRank.

Acceptable use

Do not submit content you do not have the right to submit.
Do not attempt to manipulate rank — bulk submitting near-identical listings, minting click counts for your own or a competitor's listing, or automating submissions to work around the rate limit. These are grounds for hiding a listing without refund.
Do not use the site to distribute malware, or to list anything unlawful.
Do not scrape, resell or republish the board as your own. Reading it and linking to it is fine.

No warranty, and liability

The site is provided as-is. Listings are submitted by the public, not vetted by us: we publish a URL and a name, and we do not verify that a product works, is safe to use, or is what it says it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, and our total liability arising from any use of the site is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud.

Changes

We may update these terms, and will change the date below when we do. Changes apply from that date and do not retroactively affect a boost you already paid for — the 30 days you bought are the 30 days you keep.
